Visual search engines

I’ve played around with LivePlasma for a few years now & have always thought it was really cool. I recently discovered TuneGlue & found it to be pretty similar. Both sites let you enter the name of a musician or group & the search results are displayed in a Flash map that lets you see similar artists. Although TuneGlue has more fluidity in that you can drag the artists around the screen, LivePlasma gives you a more thorough default map of similar artists. Each site even gives you a history of albums by the artist with a link to purchase. In addition, LivePlasma allows you to search for a movie, director, or actor & see similar related items. Check out these sites & see what you think.
